Earlier this week I visited Appeer in St John's, a group that supports autistic girls and women and their families. I've been able to support them through my Surrey County Council community allocation money.
Jo and the team at Appeer do amazing work and are making such a difference to lives. It was lovely to meet a few of the mums of the girls as well and to hear their stories - they are so appreciative of everything Appeer does to help them through often difficult times.
