The state of Holly Bank Road in Hook Heath is one of the issues raised the most by residents in the area. I’ve been fighting a battle for many years to get the road resurfaced against those who say it isn’t in a bad enough condition!
A few months ago I decided to try a different approach and focus on the parts of the road that need attention the most. I’m glad to say this is bearing fruit along with seeking extra sources of funding.
There’s still more of the road to do and more work for me to do. But we are making progress. I said before that I would provide updates when there was news - and I will continue to do that.
