A few weeks ago, there was concern that a job at the threshold of Blackbridge Road and Fernhill Close had not been done as advertised; first of all residents were advised that it was pavement work - and then that this area would be done when another patch further up Fernhill Close was repaired instead.
I've followed this up with highways officers at Surrey County Council and while the comms around these jobs clearly needs improving, I am pleased that the work on this threshold, which really did need doing, has now been completed. There are one or two potholes near the join of the road with Fernhill Park that need further investigation as they look as though they could deteriorate.
This investigation might already have been done, so I will check this.
