I have just heard that the emergency works being carried out by Southern Gas Networks on St John's Hill Road have been extended until 26 February.
These works are being carried out for an essential and immediate repair to a gas escape. Residents will have seen the multi way traffic lights with manual control during peak hours, which is creating a small tailback at times.
