Ayesha is pleased that the Hermitage Road bridge works were completed reasonably quickly and that cars are now able to pass through again.
The new paint on the railings definitely looks smarter and has made the bridge look more cared for and similar to the Kiln Bridge in St John's.
She said: "There are still a few points I will raise with the county council - I'm not sure why the cap stone on the far left pillar has not been reinstated. It still lies underneath the bridge on the canal footpath. It seems a shame to do all this work without putting that right."
