St John's Hill Road has been on the Surrey County Council Project Horizon list for some time now and it is great to be able to say that I've secured resurfacing work on it during this financial year!
The work was originally supposed to go ahead before Christmas but was delayed due to bad weather. I've just heard that the new date for the work is January 26 and 27, so the road will be closed for those two days between 9.30am and 3.30pm to allow the work to be done.
This will be for the stretch of road between Firbank Drive and Barricane to be re-surfaced. I'm aware that there are other patches of that road that could also do with attention and I will continue to press for this to be done.
That all said, apparently we have more bad weather on the way - so I will let you know if the dates have to be moved again.
